In this lecture presented by Veterinary Internist Staci Goussev, we'll cover a thorough review of leptospirosis. Starting with a discussion of the etiology and epidemiology, we'll then focus on clinical presentation and confirmatory testing, including the microscopic agglutination test and PCR testing. Near the end of the lecture we'll cover prevention and treatment, and the public health risks of this zoonotic disease.This talk is specifically RACE-approved for .5 DVM or Technician CE credit.
