I love how objective, respectful and kind you are with your employees. I hope I get a manager like you.
I am a person who cries and gets hurt even though I know the person didnt mean to hurt me, they probably were just stressed. I want to take things less personally. What thought processes do people go through to acknowledge that and not be hurt by a sharp tone or impatience?
(I know its a strange question, but I am a "super feeler.")

Thank you for your kind compliment! I think they key to not taking feedback personally is beginning to understand how you process and feel and how it compares to others. Often we are simply approaching things differently and the more we understand about one another the less weird that feels. Email me at Dove and we can talk more about strategies. I can send you some tools.
