Hi! How tight are you putting your Rummel tourniquet? Is it just snugged against the liver, waiting there just in case? Or do you actually tighten it pre-emptively before you do your finger fracture and/or stapling? Thanks!

Hi Clare
Yes I just snug it down with only slight pressure on the tissue. If I have significant bleeding occur then I can quickly tighten it just enough to allow me to achieve hemostasis at the surgical site. Thanks for watching!
