Chylothorax is a primary (idiopathic) or secondary condition where chyle accumulates in the pleural space. Andrea Sundholm, DVM, DACVS-SA, will discuss the typical signalment and clinical signs, etiology, diagnostic plan including advanced imaging modalities, medical management and surgical intervention, anesthesia and post-operative care for patients with chylothorax.
