What about the use of a clear top tube (no additive) vs the red to tube? Any Issues or concerns with that variation?

Hi Kateelynn,

Thanks for the question. You should be fine to place the urine in a clear top tube. The best thing is to check with the lab that you are sending the specimen to just to make sure you are sending it in their preferred container. If you are just using it in-house, just make sure the tube does not have any additives or serum separators.
